👋 Your first visit
What do I need to bring?
A valid, unexpired government-issued photo ID showing you're 21 or older — driver's license, state ID, passport, or military ID. Everyone gets carded at the door, every visit, no exceptions.
Do out-of-state IDs work?
Yes! Visitors 21+ can shop with any valid government-issued ID. Purchase limits are the same for residents and visitors. Just remember: what you buy in Minnesota stays in Minnesota — crossing state lines with cannabis is federally illegal.
What's it like inside? I'm nervous.
Totally normal! Our shop feels more like a friendly boutique than anything intimidating. A budtender will greet you, ask what you're looking for (or what kind of experience you want to feel), and walk you through the menu at your pace. No question is too basic.
Do I need a medical card?
Nope — adult-use sales are open to everyone 21+. Minnesota's medical program still exists and offers registered patients certain products and tax benefits, but no card is needed to shop with us.
💳 Payment & purchases
How can I pay?
Because cannabis is still federally illegal, most major credit card networks don't allow cannabis purchases. Cash always works, and we have an ATM on site. Many dispensaries also offer debit-based payment options — ask at the counter or call ahead for what's currently available.
How much can I buy at once?
State law caps a single transaction at 2 ounces of flower, 8 grams of concentrate, and edibles totaling 800 mg THC. Our registers track it automatically so you can't accidentally go over. See our Minnesota laws page for the full picture.
Are there taxes on cannabis?
Yes — Minnesota adds a cannabis gross-receipts tax on top of regular sales tax, and it's included in your total at checkout. Registered medical patients are exempt from the cannabis tax on medical purchases.
Can I return a product?
Unopened products with a defect (like a faulty vape cartridge) can usually be exchanged — bring your receipt and the product in its original packaging. State rules don't allow returns of opened consumable products, for obvious reasons.
🌿 Products & dosing
I'm brand new. What should I start with?
Most first-timers do great with a low-dose edible (2.5–5 mg THC) or a mild flower strain. Whatever you choose: start low, go slow, and wait for the full onset before taking more — especially with edibles, which can take up to two hours to kick in. Our Cannabis 101 guide covers every product type.
What's the difference between indica, sativa, and hybrid?
It's shorthand for the vibe: indicas are associated with relaxed, mellow body effects; sativas with upbeat, energetic head effects; hybrids blend both. Individual strains vary a lot, though — tell your budtender how you want to feel and we'll match you up.
How long do edibles take to work?
Onset is typically 30 minutes to 2 hours because edibles go through your digestive system, and effects can last several hours. This is the #1 thing that trips people up — never take a second dose because "it's not working yet." It's working. It's just on lake time.
Will topicals get me high?
No — topicals like balms and lotions are applied to the skin for localized benefits and don't produce psychoactive effects, because the cannabinoids don't meaningfully reach your bloodstream.
How should I store my products at home?
Keep everything in its original child-resistant packaging, in a cool, dark place, and firmly out of reach of children and pets. Edibles can look like regular candy — treat them like medicine, not snacks.

Not yet — Minnesota's rules around delivery are still developing. For now it's in-store shopping and (soon) online pre-orders for pickup.
